Bootcamp Ireland has a unique formula that gives everyone who joins an overall workout, without getting bored or restless with the same regime, week after week, just like in a gym! The different instructors that are spread across the different locations give you the variety that’s needed to keep up with your new chosen health and fitness lifestyle! Our group training means that you are mixing with so many other like minded people who all have one thing in common.. they all want to get fit & healthy and in great shape, so still getting your PERSONAL RESULTS!
Bootcamp 8 week program
A typical session includes 24 classes. The training program runs over an 8 week period, giving you 16 full 1 hour classes, with an additional bonus of 8 extra classes on Saturdays. Most of our members re-new their membership from session to session, simply because they DO see results and love the way it makes them feel! The Bootcamp program is ideal for almost anyone with a positive attitude! If you want to get fit and see results, we will get you there! Our members are from all different walks of life, some use it for pre-season training, others for a lead up to an event, where they need to get in shape and get fit and be motivated into doing so, others are simply looking for a new way of life!
How to join?
- From our timetable, decide which location & class time is most suitable for you.
- Then check out the start dates on the timetable page. It is also possible to start mid-session, subject to availability (see below).
- Simply book by clicking here. '
- A member of the Bootcamp Team will get in touch with you about a start date.
- You will then receive an email with registration details and everything you need to know to start the Bootcamp training program.
- Simply turn up on your first night, with your complete registration form and fee and you’re good to go!
What if it’s in the middle of an 8 week session?
No problem, you can still join us, simply follow the above steps, indicating when you would like to join and a member of the Bootcamp team will be in touch with you regarding your start date.
You will receive a voucher you can use towards a future session to make up for missing the start of the current session.
Class types
Our classes are made up of a number of different types of exercises from aerobic and cardio, strengthening, toning & conditioning, flexibility, and of course the odd game to keep you on your toes! We use circuits and other forms of techniques to give you an over all workout. In a number of our locations we run Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner options for our members!
Fitness levels
We run the class at an ‘at your own pace’ policy, which means everyone does the class at the pace that they can handle themselves. Everyone is different, so it’s our job, The Bootcamp Team, to push you as much as you can be pushed, and it’s your job, to push yourselves as much as you can to get the most out of the classes to see the best results! 'I joined Bootcamp after advice from my Physiotherapist. I had been out of action for over a year and a half from a serious injury and I thought it would be the ideal way to get myself fit and get over my injury! It sounds a bit a cliché, but it is the best thing I've signed up to for a long time! I found that each instructor has their own way of training and is always there to push you to your limits and each training session is always different, so you never know what to expect. I have found that it is up to everyone to push themselves to what there are capable of, so if a person sprints off ahead, you don’t feel bad because the instructors are pushing you to your own limits. You then have the goal to try and keep up with the people at the top of the class!
I am the fittest I have ever been and I have made lots of friends, both Instructors and fellow Bootcampers! In the first six months of this year I managed to lose about 16lbs in weight. But it wasn’t about losing weight: it was about toning up and getting fit and Bootcamp has helped in every way. I would wholly recommend Bootcamp to anyone. I am still in a gym, but cannot remember when I last went in. I am a fully fledged Loyalty Member and I find this a great option so I can get a session in if I miss one of my normal days, wherever I like. I am currently looking to train for a triathlon, which I never thought I would do, but I am really looking forward to that and I don’t think I would have been able to do this without the help of the Bootcamp team. "I joined Bootcamp eight months ago. At the time, I wouldn’t have been able to jog to the corner shop before I’d be doubled over on the pavement gasping for breath! Since then my fitness and stamina have increased hugely. Now I run at least 5km most evenings when I’m not doing Bootcamp and have even taken part in an organised 10km run: something I would have laughed at the idea of eight months ago. I have Bootcamp to thank for my new level of fitness and I also feel more fresh, awake and alive on a day to day basis! Thanks to the format of the classes, they are suitable for anybody of any level of fitness. I dare anyone to try it and not see noticeable improvements after only a few weeks. The best thing of all? "I joined Bootcamp in April 2008 and have been doing it consistently since then.
When I joined I weighed 224 pounds and was pretty un-motivated to do any exercise. A friend was already doing bootcamp and suggested I join. After the initial few weeks of pain (ha!) I never looked back! The Instructors are very encouraging and friendly and there is a distinct team spirit about every class.
I currently weigh 185 pounds and have a bit more to lose but after the next 8 week session of Bootcamp I am sure I will be at my target weight. Getting involved with Bootcamp has also spurred me to take up running when I am not training with the gang and it has helped me rediscover the joy of being outdoors (even on a cold wet Winters night!!)
I just ran the Frank Duffy 10 mile last weekend and am going to do the half-marathon next month. Last year I could not have run for a bus!!
