Running Series Program

 

Bootcamp Ireland is delighted to announce it's Bootcamp Running Series!

We created this programme to give you the opportunity to put your improved fitness to the test and to take part in some of the great events that are happening around the country each year! 2010 is our first of this Series, and so far we have had over 700 bootcampers take part is our events, some of whom have never even dreamed of doing such events! This is open for all Bootcampers to take part in! 


Throughout the year, we will keep you posted on the fun runs, mud runs, 10K races, half and full marathons, Adventure Challenges and others that we'll be taking part in! 

We have categorised each event into Recommended Fitness Levels: Beginner  Intermediate  and Advanced . This will help you choose which event best suits your fitness level.

All you need to do is let us know what events you'll be taking part in by going to "Book & View my Events" on the Bootcamp Ireland Website. (Make sure to register with the official organisers too). Then just email us a picture of you crossing the finish line with your Bootcamp t-shirt (which you can pick up from us anytime before your event for free! It's a fabulous, Dri-fit technical tshirt, which is great for running in and best of all, great to wear! Call us to arrange to pick it up, or if you have a Bootcamp tshirt already and can't make it to pick one up from us, then that will do too.

We will then give you points for every kilometer you ran, jogged or walked!

These events can be a great fitness goal to work towards and can help keep you motivated! Above all they are great fun and incredibly rewarding. It's great to compete in something that puts your fitness to the test and it puts all your hard work to good use! Don't forget to look out for other Bootcampers along the way and encourage each other to the finish line.


Earn your Bootcamp Points!

For each kilometer you run on our recommend runs you will earn you 5 points. Anyone earning 200 Bootcamp Points by the end of 2010, will receive our Bootcamp Prize Pack!

  1. All you need to do is let us know what Event you're doing by booking in for it under "Book & View my Events" via your personal profile on the Bootcamp Ireland Website
  2. Then get a picture taken of you crossing the finish line - or during or after the event! (Please make sure to change the name of your photo, or save it with your name and the event you took part in for accurate recording of your participation. Eg. Save the photo as "Mary Healy Womens Mini Marathon" and email it in to us.

If you know of an event that you'd like us to add to our Series that isn't yet there, then send it on and we'll do our best to add it in!


To recap:

We will post up each event we're taking part in on our events page so keep an eye out for new events which are added regularly! Simply let us know you'll be taking part by following the steps below:

  1. Login to your account and let us know the event you'll be taking part in
  2. Remember to Book in with the official Event Organisers using the link that is emailed to you when you register for it as a Bootcamp Event
  3. Get a picture of yourself at the end or during the race, wearing your Bootcamp T-shirt and email it to us within 14 days of the run, to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or call us to arrange to post it in! (PS: Everyone who takes part in the race can get their hands on a Souvenir Running T-Shirt for FREE!!)
