As part of our Bootcamp Running Series, and in associations with the boys from ROAR (Achill and Wicklow), Brian and Paul are going to take us out, on our own to go through what's involved in these races. It will also prepare you for any other events that include, Running, Biking or Kayaking! It will also be ideal training for anyone doing Gaelforce G6 in August.

What will we be doing? We will covering all 3 disciplines of these events and so therefore doing a run/jog on smooth and rough terrain of up to 8 - 10km, (2 hours max.) at a nice pace. We may divide this into groups according to fitness, so don't worry about your fitness levels! Then we will stop for lunch, and following that, will head out on the lakes for some kayaking (nice!!), and then on the bikes for a good bike ride on some spectacular countryside! The guys will talk you through you bike, the kind of clothes to wear, what to eat, your kit etc.

Where and when will be meeting? We will meet in the nice location of Tulfarris hotel. We meet up on the Sunday morning at 10:30am. We are aiming to be finished at approx 4pm after a fabulous day out!

Who can come along? All Bootcampers are welcome, however its most advised that anyone doing the Adventure Challenges join in on this day, for the experience and preparation for the upcoming events! All fitness levels welcome.

How much is it? The price for training will be €40pp. We have kept it to a minimum, as opposed to the standard rates for these type of training weekends of €135pp. To do this, we are asking that you all bring your packed lunches, or we can get grub in Tulfarris at half time! You would receive payment options by e-mail as soon as u login to your account and book into this event. Paying by credit card option available below.
