Recommended Fitness Level: (Beginners) This is a Charity Event so is open to participants of all Fitness Levels: from Beginners to Advanced.
This November take part in Africa’s biggest road race and help save the sight of 1000’s of people in Ethiopia
Join ORBIS Ireland and take to the streets of Addis Ababa for the Great Ethiopian Run on 21 November.
Beginning in downtown Addis Ababa, you’ll be joined by more than 30,000 other competitors of all levels, including the world class athlete Haile Gebrselassie. The Run is a challenging 10km at 10,000 feet above sea level – an altitude that will test your physical condition. Along with some of the world’s most renowned athletes there will be a huge variety of all age groups and levels taking part.

By joining ORBIS you will be helping to eradicate a blinding and life destroying eye disease from some of the poorest regions of southern Ethiopia and ensuring the next generation of children do not grow up in darkness.
