Bushy is a lovely green oasis that is often taken over with various different teams, skateboarders and dog walkers. There’s always a great atmosphere here, guaranteed to get us all motivated and out there training! The hill by the bandstand (friend & foe to some!) is a great natural feature of the park that we use to get the heart pumping for some anaerobic action! Directions: Coming from Terenure Cross, turn left on to Rathdown Avenue (opposite gates to Terenure College). Continue along this road until you see a small kiosk on your right. We meet at the big map in front of the kiosk 5-10 minutes before the class. It is important to be here on time as we train in different locations in the Park. |

Herbert Park is definitely the spot; perfect location on your way home from work or close to home, Herbert Park is a lovely green spot that always is buzzing with activity. Nice and compact, Herbert really compliments the Team Environment of Bootcamp with its quaint surroundings. Directions: From Donnybrook, heading from town turn left just before O’Briens Off Licence. On this road of red bricked cottages, keep to the right of the “Y” in the road and continue to the end of this road. There you will see the railings of the park in front of you and we train in the area behind this railing. |

The king of all Parks, The Phoenix Park is an amazing spot to train in. Not only does the sheer scale of the Park let us forget that we are in the middle of urban life; the wildlife that we share the park with is a lovely sight to behold! We’re often spotted training by a herd of deer chilling on the pitches, or running through the trees with squirrels scurrying out of sight! Directions: From town, go in the main gate of the park (Parkgate Street Entrance). Drive straight along the main road (Chesterfield Avenue). You will pass the Wellington monument on your left in the green area. At the first roundabout, take the first exit (left). Follow the road all the way down and you will eventually hit an intersection down the hill approx. 700m down. The magazine fort is on the hill in front of you. Take a right here at this junction and the little car park on the left is where we meet. |

Marlay Park is a great spot! With plenty of space for us to train in we love going to different areas of the park and using what nature gives us to train! We’ll often be found climbing a fence and working our quads! We meet in the main Car Park off Grange Road. We congregate where the car park meets the pitches (near the start of the Wicklow way). We train in different areas of the park so it is important to be at the meeting point before the start of class. |

With the coast as a picturesque backdrop, St. Annes is a surprisingly pretty park. (On alternate weeks we will train on Dollymount Beach [depending on tides] for a great workout!) St. Anne's Park was once the private grounds of the Guinness estate, the civilised elegance of that era is clear to see...Pity we don't always get a chance to relax and take it all in when we're grunting as we train our socks off! Directions: Coming out of town go down the coast road past Clontarf. Turn left up Mount Prospect Avenue (there is a group of shops on the corner including Wongs Chinese Restaurant; it's the left just past here.) Continue up the road about 300-400 metres and enter the Park on the right handside. We will meet in the car park there. Please be there at least 5 minutes before your class time as we move off to a different training area from there.

We finally made it! This is a perfect location for a Bootcamp Ireland Class...it's a hill! So there'll be a great opportunity to work on the legs and get some great anaerobic workouts in! We meet in the main car park just off Dalkey Avenue. It is easiest approached from the Dalkey side of Killiney Hill. We meet in the car park 10 minutes before the start of every class as we keep the class mobile and are often training in different parts of the park.

We’re delighted with our new spot that is located directly across the road from Bushy Park! We’ll be training in the beautiful grounds of college with plenty of green spaces, wonderful wooded areas and even a lake for good measure! It’s in the running for our “loveliest new location award”! If coming to this class you can park in our designated places only, which are; 1) In the school yard beside the gym, where the basketball courts are. 2) At the back of the church (NOT AT THE FRONT OF THE CHURCH AS THIS AREA IS PRIVATE FOR THE PRIESTS ONLY). Please be responsible when parking and respect the grounds of the college and do not block any entrances. |
