Paul loves football and enjoys focusing on the team aspect of training and believes in the importance of incentive training, as can be seen with his numerous experiences training junior football teams. Before becoming a PTI, Paul's focus was on circuit and weight training so he'll get you going when we're doing the circuits at Bootcamp!

aileen2Aileen

Bootcamp Team

Aileen joined her local handball & basket ball teams when she was 11 and it kicked off from there. She played girls basketball all through secondary school and got pretty good at it, not hard when her coach was this 7 foot American Scout from South Carolina. After school, she was in my college rebel stage and took up kickboxing. She adored the sport, it’s intense training regime and the sparring training that she did against lads and ladies made us all very diverse fighters. I spotted a banner for Bootcamp outside Wesley College on my way to tag-rugby one night. It looked like a diverse challenging fitness class something I could get my teeth stuck into. I got excited and myself and a friend signed up and I’ve never looked back that was 4 years ago. I've also tryed out skiing, tandem sky-diving and taken part in a few 10k runs. I believe it is very important to keep exercise fun and part of your life every day along with eating yummy nutritious food. Although you push yourself to the limits it’s worth the effort because it makes you feel good and hopefully help you from developing diseases when your older and add on a few extra years to your life.

Anne

Bootcamp Team
Anne is another one of our valued Bootcamp team members and has been with us for many years. Anne is always there organising everyone into their respective groups and encouraging us all to get out there training! If you are looking for a hug after a hard training session Anne is your woman! When not training in Bootcamp herself, Anne can be found hiking across a mountain or skiing down a powdery slope! Anne is a regular on our many Bootcamp activities including our skiing trips and our hiking trips.

Elaine

Bootcamp Team

Elaine

Elaine has been training with Bootcamp Ireland for over two years now and has been enjoying quite an active lifestyle ever since. Elaine has gotten in to Hill Walking, has just started surfing and loves a bit of swimming, Tai Chi and kayaking too. On her travels she stopped off in Peru and did a bit of snowboarding in Japan and New Zealand...as 'ye do. Since joining Bootcamp Ireland Elaine has taken part in some 10K running events including the Dublin Docklands Fun Run and the Great Ireland Run putting all her hard work at her Bootcamp classes to the test! Elaine initially joined Bootcamp Ireland with a friend to meet new people and to get fitter. She says she completely underestimated the social aspect of Bootcamp  and the different events availbae beyone the Bootcamp Classes like the Ski & Surf trips away, the Adventure Challenges, the Bootcamp Running Series and all the social nights out. There is also something new and different going on so it's great fun to do different things and make a few new friends along the way. Elaine wanted to help out with Team as a way to meet some more Bootcampers and to get involved a little bit more with Bootcamp Ireland.

Fred

Bootcamp Team
Fred is our man at Coolmine and Phoenix Park. Fred hails from Lyon, France and surprise surprise he loves rugby! Fred used to play rugby as a youngster and currently trains youths and teenagers at the Garda Rugby Club. Fred came to Bootcamp after years at the Gym finding the banter he had with Bootcampers a great encouragement and a reward for training. Despite working really hard at Bootcamp, Fred says the motivation you get from the Instructors is amazing and loves the atmosphere at a Bootcamp Class. He's a very active man is our Fred: from show jumping and horse riding to skiing and even mono skiing, which is a very difficult version of skiing:! It involves 'shooping' down the slopes on one ski! So he's a well balanced individual :) He was also an avid swimmer back in France and has recently taken an interest in Chi Running...so watch out: if you don't come to Fred and sign in for class he'll come running after you!

Graham

Graham

Bootcamp Team
Graham is a regular Bootcamper who came on board as Team in Summer 2009. Graham says he joined Team because "I owe so much to Bootcamp for helping me find a way to exercise that I genuinely love and for getting me in shape. So I was happy to be able to help out and make it an enjoyable experience for the other Bootcampers. I’ve always enjoyed the social aspect of Bootcamp and joining Team was a great way to get to know even more people in more locations. I love cycling everywhere, going for runs and hiking. I’ve done a lot of hiking around the world including the Andes, Patagonia and northern Vietnam. I also LOVE scuba diving but only in tropical places. The cold, murky waters of Dun Laoghaire bay don’t do it for me I’m afraid! My favourite Bootcamp classes are ones that take place in lashing rain or 6 inches of snow. There’s nothing like lying face down in the mud doing lying hand claps with Gerry or Alan spurring you on...the shower afterwards feels all the more deserved!

paddy

Paddy

Bootcamp Team
Paddy is our Fresh faced Bootcamp Team Member and has been with us for over three years now. Like all of our Team Members, Paddy became a Team Member out of his love for all things Bootcamp. He takes part regularly in the classes when he's not out there with his clip board in hand! Outside of Bootcamp Paddy is normally occupying himself with various different activities. Paddy is an experienced Boxer and has trained boxing to all ages over the years. He has taken part in many local and national competitions and competed at amateur level at home and abroad. He has also been with us for many of trips and has had fun surfing and skiing with other Bootcamp members. Along with this, Paddy is a keen runner, hiker and fisher. A lovely bit of contrast to his otherwise more energetic activities!

Shaun

Bootcamp Team

Our resident Bootcamp enthusiast, Shaun is our Mr. Nice guy, out there doing his best to make you all feel very welcome to class in Terenure and Bushy. He hails from India (don't be fooled by his name!) and regularly helps out at the Parks. If he's not distracted by a game of Cricket or Football, Shaun can be found running around with his clip board. Shaun loves everything Bootcamp and you can tell by his enthusiasm! If ever you have a question about any of our locations, he's your man!

Paul O'D.

Bootcamp Team
Paul is another one of our dedicated Team Members who helps out for us. Paul hops around all the different parks, helping you all get organised and getting you all set for training. Paul will do anything once! Just try him! He's an avid Badminton player and plays locally and competes when he can in local tournaments. One thing on Paul's list is to try surfing...he'll give it a bash in Ireland; but we think he should try one of Bootcamp's Surfing Trips in sunnier locations! Paul is an active guy and use to do a bit of Downhill Mountain biking up in Cavan and Monaghan. Paul is a recent addition to the Bootcamp Team and first started because he found Bootcamp to be a great stress reliever and loves the outdoors environments and the motivation of the team environment...he also thinks it's a great way to make new friends...so go shake Paul's hand next time you see him...he's very friendly!

Kevin O'Toole

Bootcamp Ireland Physical Therapist
Kevin is our friendly Bootcamp Physical Therapist who pops around some of the Bootcamp Locations from time to time! Kevin is there to make sure you're in tip top condition for Bootcamp and can offer free advice to Bootcampers! He might just be able to help you with the niggling problem that's been at your for a while or provide you with a simple solution to an annoying ailment! Kevin has been involved in Military Style Fitness Training since the 1980s and is currently based in the Fitzwilliam Health Clinic in Dublin.
