Mummy Bootcamp is Back

'After having my baby, I was very keen to get back to fitness in an 'at your own pace' environment with other mums and babies, so I set up Mummy Bootcamp. Our mums are of all different fitness levels and the fact that you can take it at your own pace, is a great way to ease back into exercise after having your baby. All the important and relavant body parts are targeted in a motivating way, and the chit chat and coffee afterwards is definately a great treat for all the mums!'

About:

This unique class is a great outlet for new mums as you can bring your baby 'n buggy along, which is a great attraction. It gives Mums the chance to get in shape and pull back into that body that you had before it was all about baby. Mum's get to meet up with other mums, swap stories, trade tips; it will get you outdoors, without the need for a babysitter so you can get fit and active, feel energetic and positive and most of all, help you lose the weight and tone up.

We selected our most loved and experienced Bootcamp Instructors to instill confidence in the most anxious and unfit new mums. With an absolute understanding of women’s post-baby bodies, exercises are suitably challenging and tailored to the needs of the group. The instructors take great care to ensure Mums feel comfortable and give you the freedom to take breaks as and when you need them. Classes take place every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 10.30am in the beautiful St Enda’s Park, and in Phoenix park on a Mon and Weds at 11am.  But it’s no glorified coffee morning: classes take place come rain or shine but we have been known to have a cuppa tea afterwards (we might leave out the cakes though :))

When:

These classes run in blocks of 6 weeks. This means everyone starts training on the same date and works together towards a common goal at the end of the 6 weeks, so everyone in the group progresses and increases their fitness levels together and encourages eachother.

1. It is slightly different to our regular sessions as the session will have a set date and a set finish date. There is NO drop-in or voucher option for this class. Please do not ask as we need to have a threshold of members for this class to go ahead. * Please note if we don't reach the threshold of 15 member sign-ups we'll have to re-assess the situation and this may mean the classes don't go ahead. If this is the case you will be refunded your payment in full straight away. The refund will be put back on the card you use to pay.

2. The locations will be St. Enda's Park, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 and Phoenix park just by the Cricket grounds car park.

3. There's two classes a week, on Tuesday and Thursday and start time is 10.30am (St Endas park) or Monday and Wednesday at 11am in Phoenix park

Simply click here to create your Bootcamp account and then all you have to do is click on "Book & View my Sessions", click on the drop down Menu and select your Mummy & Buggy Bootcamp. It's that simple!

If you're already a member, login using the top right hand corner of this page. As soon as you've booked in you will be sent an Information Pack detailing all you need to know like where to meet, what to wear, what to expect and how to pay etc. 

This class is based on first come first served.

I started Mummy Bootcamp 10 weeks after having baby Aisling, there is a really nice chatty atmosphere with the other mums all trying to come to grips with getting back to exercise. The sessions are less intense than a regular bootcamp session and I found it amazing how quickly the body responds to the sessions. The instructors really mix up the exercises so you never know what to expect... I now find that I’m fitter than I was before I became pregnant...maybe it’s the addition of the buggy!

I started mummy and buggy bootcamp when my daughter was 7mths old. I hadn't done any 'real' exercise in about 10yrs but really wanted to get a bit fitter and lose some of the baby weight. I was afraid I wouldn't be able for it but you can really go at your own pace.  I loved bootcamp and when my second baby came along I couldn't wait to get back and started when he was 8wks. I find it such a great way of getting fit, losing a few lbs, and best of all getting up, out and meeting a few other mums and having a coffee and chats afterwards. I hope to keep it up by going to one of the evening classes when I go back to work.

Baby Kate tends to sleep through the class which I think is down to the fresh air, if she does cry it’s no problem to step out for a few minutes.
